ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia Bulldogs (6-4, 4-3 SEC) practiced in full pads for two hours on Tuesday afternoon at the Woodruff practice fields as they continue to prepare for this week's home and SEC finale against Kentucky (2-8, 0-6).

Georgia will have 28 seniors recognized during pregame ceremonies prior to their final game at Sanford Stadium. Headlining the group is quarterback Aaron Murray, a four-year starter who now is the Southeastern Conference's career leader in touchdown passes (117), passing yardage (12,983), passing completions (903) and total offense yardage (13,384).

"Aaron Murray has exemplified what you want in a player," said Mike Bobo, the Bulldogs' offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. "I think the way he goes about his business every day, his preparation to be the best possible player he can be in practice makes him a great role model and leader for our other guys. He shows the other guys how to go about your business, win or loss.

"Another thing I can say is that he's gotten better every single year he's been here," Bobo continued. "He's gotten better every single week because of the hard work and dedication he puts in every week."

Head coach Mark Richt met with the media earlier on Tuesday and discussed facing the Wildcats at length.

"Both teams are coming off tough road losses in league play and hungry for a victory," Richt said. "It’s a game that certainly means a lot to us. We are playing at home for the last time and playing hopefully our best game for our seniors and honoring those guys with how we go about our business this week in practice and in the game. It’s the last shot between the hedges for everybody this year. We’re looking forward to the fans coming out and continuing to support our guys and thanking them for everything they’ve done.”

Saturday's contest will be the Bulldogs' first night game at Sanford Stadium this year, with kickoff slated for approximately 7:00 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
