ATHENS, Ga. --- The No. 12 Georgia Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1 SEC) utilized a two-and-a-half-hour practice in full pads on Tuesday to help get ready for this weekend's matchup with the No. 3 Florida Gators (7-0, 6-0 SEC) in Jacksonville, Fla.

"We had a very productive practice today," head coach Mark Richt said. "I liked the energy, I liked the spirit and I liked the pace. We got better."

In addition, Richt and selected players took part in the Bulldogs' weekly press conference earlier in the afternoon to talk about Saturday's contest.

"It's a game that is going to be a tremendous challenge for us, we know that," Richt said. "They are an outstanding football team and very talented. They have a lot of momentum and confidence right now, and those are tough teams to beat. We have our work cut out for us. We are looking forward to it and looking forward to today's practice and trying to get better. This will be the only day we'll be in full pads, so we have to make sure we take care of those fundamentals today as we implement our game plan."

There were no new players added to Tuesday's injury report.

Saturday's 3:30 p.m. game will be televised nationally by CBS, the 10th straight season the network has aired the Georgia-Florida contest.
