NFL WEEK 6
Geno Atkins, DT, Cincinnati Bengals
Started at DT and had five tackles in the Bengals’ 34-24 loss at Cleveland. Atkins and and former Bulldog teammate Justin Houston are tied for fourth in the NFL with six sacks.
Champ Bailey, CB, Denver Broncos
Started at LCB and had four tackles, including one for a loss, in the Broncos’ 35-24 win at San Diego. Bailey has started five of Denver’s six games this season and has 19 tackles.
Clint Boling, G, Cincinnati Bengals
Started at LG in the Bengals’ 34-24 loss at Cleveland. Boling has started all six games this season at left guard.
Brandon Boykin, CB, Philadelphia Eagles
Started at CB and had four tackles in the Eagles’ 26-23 overtime loss to Detroit. Boykin also returned five kickoffs for an average of 24.4 yards per return, including a season-long return of 31 yards.
Drew Butler, P, Pittsburgh Steelers
Punted three times for an average of 41.0 yards per punt, and two of his punts were downed inside the 20-yard line. Butler also serves as the Steelers’ primary punter and the holder on extra points/field goals.
Orson Charles, TE, Cincinnati Bengals
Started at TE and had a 12-yard reception in the Bengals’ 34-24 loss at Cleveland. It was the second start of the season for Charles, who has played in all six games and has three catches.
Chris Clemons, DE, Seattle Seahawks
Started at RDE and had four tackles and led the team with three quarterback pressures in the Seahawks’ 24-23 win over New England. Clemons has 18 tackles and 5.5 sacks in six games this season for Seattle.
Thomas Davis, LB, Carolina Panthers
Davis and the Panthers were off in week six. He has recorded 15 tackles this year for Carolina.
Akeem Dent, LB, Atlanta Falcons
Started at MLB and was third on the team with eight tackles in the Falcons’ 23-20 win over Oakland. Dent has 18 tackles in six games this season for undefeated Atlanta.
Demarcus Dobbs, TE/DT, San Francisco 49ers
Saw action in the 49ers’ 26-3 loss to the New York Giants. Dobbs has played in all six games this season for San Francisco.
Dannell Ellerbe, LB, Baltimore Ravens
Had three tackles and a quarterback pressure in the Raven’s 31-29 win over Dallas. Ellerbe is third on the team with 31 tackles and second with 2.5 sacks.
Robert Geathers, DE, Cincinnati Bengals
Started at LDE and had a season-high four tackles, including a sack, in the Bengals’ 34-24 loss at Cleveland. Geathers has started all six games for Cincinnati this season.
Cordy Glenn, OT, Buffalo Bills
Not active in the Bills’ 19-16 win at Arizona. Glenn is recovering from a high ankle sprain.
Kedric Golston, DE, Washington Redskins
Had a quarterback pressure in the Redskins’ 38-26 win over Minnesota. Golston has played in all six games this season for Washington.
A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
Started at WR and led the team with 135 yards on seven catches and two touchdowns in the Bengals’ 34-24 loss at Cleveland. Green currently leads the NFL with 628 receiving yards. His 108 catches and 13 TDs are the most by any player in NFL history through his first 21 games.
Justin Houston, LB, Kansas City Chiefs
Started at LOLB and had three tackles and his first career interception in the Chiefs’ 38-10 loss at Tampa Bay. Houston and former Bulldog teammate Geno Atkins are tied for fourth in the NFL with six sacks.
Corvey Irvin, DT, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Had two tackles in the Buccaneers’ 38-10 win over Kansas City. He has five tackles in five games this season with Tampa Bay.
Tim Jennings, CB, Chicago Bears
Jennings and the Bears were off in week six. He is tied for the NFL lead with four interceptions this season.
Charles Johnson, DE, Carolina Panthers
Johnson and the Panthers were off in week six. He has 17 tackles this season and is tied for the team lead with 3.5 sacks.
Ben Jones, C, Houston Texans
Played at right guard in the Texans’ 42-24 loss to Green Bay. Jones has played in all six games this season for the Texans, who are off to a 5-1 start.
Reshad Jones, DB, Miami Dolphins
Started at safety and was third on the team with six tackles in the Dophins’ 17-14 win over St. Louis. Jones has started every game this season and is tied for fourth on the team with 32 tackles.
Mohamed Massaquoi, WR, Cleveland Browns
Not active in the Browns’ 34-24 win over Cincinnati. Massaquoi suffered a strained left hamstring in the Browns’ game at Buffalo on Sept. 23.
Randy McMichael, TE, San Diego Chargers
Started at TE and had two catches in the Chargers’ 35-24 loss to Denver. McMichael has started five of San Diego’s six games this season.
Knowshon Moreno, RB, Denver Broncos
Not active in the Broncos’ 35-24 win at San Diego. Moreno has played in two of Denver’s six games this season.

Saw action at tight end in the Steelers’ 26-23 loss at Tennessee. Pope has played in all five games this season for Pittsburgh.

Saw action in the Bengals 34-24 loss at Cleveland. Roland has played in all six games for Cincinnati.
Richard Seymour, DE, Oakland Raiders
Started at DT and had one tackle for a loss in the Raiders’ 23-20 loss at Atlanta. Seymour has nine tackles, including a sack, in five starts this season for Oakland.
Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions
Started at QB and completed 22-of-45 passes for 311 yards and a touchdown in the Lions’ 26-23 overtime win at Philadelphia. He is fourth in the NFL with an average of 298.6 passing yards per game.
DeAngelo Tyson, DE, Baltimore Ravens
Not active in the Ravens’ 31-29 win over Dallas.
Fernando Velasco, OL, Tennessee Titans
Started at center in the Titans’ 26-23 win over Pittsburgh. Velasco has started all six games at center for Tennessee.
Blair Walsh, K, Minnesota Vikings
Made all four field goal attempts of 20, 27, 27 and 37 yards in the Vikings’ 38-26 loss at Washington. Walsh is 16-for-17 on field goal attempts this season and is tied for second in the league in field goals made.
D.J. Ware, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Had one carry for six yards and two catches for 10 yards in the Buccaneers’ 38-10 win over Kansas City. He has rushed for 45 yards and has six receptions this season.
Ben Watson, TE, Cleveland Browns
Started at TE and had two catches, including a three-yard touchdown reception, in the Browns’ 34-24 win over Cincinnati. It was the first touchdown catch of the season for Watson and the 26th of his NFL career.
Will Witherspoon, LB, Tennessee Titans
Started at WLB in the Titans’ 26-23 win over Pittsburgh. Witherspoon has 29 tackles in six games this season for Tennessee.

Terrance Edwards, WR, Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Led the team with nine receptions for 143 yards in the Blue Bombers’ 32-21 loss to Calgary. Edwards has caught 66 passes for 989 yards and has more than 7,000 yards receiving for his career.
