NASHVILLE, Tenn. - David Greene threw for 305 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead No. 19 Georgia past Vanderbilt 30-14 for its second straight Southeastern Conference road victory.

The Bulldogs (4-1, 3-1) picked up where they left off in last week's dramatic victory over Tennessee, scoring in four plays with their opening possession and jumping ahead 21-0 midway through the second quarter.

Vanderbilt (1-4, 0-3) ran up 436 yards of total offense but the Georgia defense repeatedly held when the Commodores got close.

Vanderbilt was stopped on a fourth-and-goal at the Georgia 1 in the first quarter, missed a short field goal after reaching the 14, and fumbled the ball away at Georgia's 2 in the second half. The game ended with Vanderbilt again inside the Georgia 10.
