NFL WEEK 5
Geno Atkins, DT, Cincinnati Bengals
Started at DT and had four tackles - two for a loss, including a sack - and a quarterback pressure in the Bengals 17-13 loss to Miami. Atkins has at least one sack in four of the first five games. He and and former Bulldog teammate Justin Houston are tied for third in the NFL with six sacks.
Champ Bailey, CB, Denver Broncos
Started at LCB and had four tackles in the Broncos' 31-21 loss at New England. Bailey has started four of Denver's five games this season and has 15 tackles.
Clint Boling, G, Cincinnati Bengals
Started at LG in the Bengals' 17-13 loss to Miami. Boling has started all five games this season at left guard.
Brandon Boykin, CB, Philadelphia Eagles
Had five tackles in the Eagles'16-14 loss at Pittsburgh. Boykin also returned three kickoffs for 65 yards for an average of 21.7 yards per return.
Drew Butler, P, Pittsburgh Steelers
Punted four times and had a net punt average of 43.0 yards and a long punt of 57 yards. Butler also serves as the Steelers' primary punter and the holder on extra points/field goals.
Orson Charles, TE, Cincinnati Bengals
Saw action in the Bengals' 17-13 loss to Miami. Charles has played in all five games for Cincinnati and has two catches.
Chris Clemons, DE, Seattle Seahawks
Started at RDE and had six tackles, including a half sack, and two quarterback hurries in the Seahawks' 16-12 win at Carolina. Clemons has 14 tackles and 5.5 sacks in five games this season for Seattle.
Thomas Davis, LB, Carolina Panthers
Davis started at WLB and had six tackles, including one for a loss, in the Panthers' 16-12 loss to Seattle. Davis has recorded 15 tackles this year for the Panthers.
Akeem Dent, LB, Atlanta Falcons
Started at MLB and had two tackles in the Falcons' 24-17 win at Washington. Dent has 10 tackles in five games this season for Atlanta.
Demarcus Dobbs, TE/DT, San Francisco 49ers
Registered one tackle in the 49ers' 45-3 win over Buffalo. Dobbs has played in all five games this season for San Francisco.
Dannell Ellerbe, LB, Baltimore Ravens
Had three tackles in the Raven's 9-6 win at Kansas City. Ellerbe is third on the team with 28 tackles, and he leads the Ravens with 2.5 sacks.
Robert Geathers, DE, Cincinnati Bengals
Started at LDE and had one tackle in the Bengals' 17-13 loss to Miami. Geathers has started all five games for Cincinnati this season.
Cordy Glenn, OT, Buffalo Bills
Not active in the Bills' 45-3 loss at San Francisco. Glenn is recovering from a high ankle sprain.
Kedric Golston, DE, Washington Redskins
Registered a tackle for loss in the Redskins' 24-17 loss to Atlanta. Golston has played in all five games this season for Washington.
A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
Started at WR and led the team with nine catches for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals' 17-13 loss to Miami. Green became the first player in NFL history to reach 100 receptions, 1,500 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns by his 20th game. Last week he was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September.
Justin Houston, LB, Kansas City Chiefs
Started at LOLB and had four tackles, including two sacks, in the Chiefs' 9-6 loss to Baltimore. Houston and former Bulldog teammate Geno Atkins are tied for third in the NFL with six sacks.
Corvey Irvin, DT, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Irvin and the Buccaneers were off in week five. He has three tackles in four games this season with Tampa Bay.
Tim Jennings, CB, Chicago Bears
Started at LCB and led the team with six tackles and added a pass break-up in the Bears' 41-3 win at Jacksonville. Last week Jennings was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for September after a league-leading four interceptions.
Charles Johnson, DE, Carolina Panthers
Started at RE and had two tackles in the Panthers' 16-12 loss to Seattle. Johnson as 17 tackles this season and is tied for the team lead with 3.5 sacks.
Ben Jones, C, Houston Texans
Played at right guard in the Texans' 23-17 win at the New York Jets on Monday night. Jones has played in all five games this season for the Texans, who are 5-0, the best start in franchise history.
Reshad Jones, DB, Miami Dolphins
Started at safety and had seven, including one for a loss, and an interception in the Dolphins' 17-13 win at Cincinnati. It was the second interception of the season for Jones, who has started every game this season and is fourth on the team with 26 tackles.
Mohamed Massaquoi, WR, Cleveland Browns
Not active in the Browns' 41-27 loss at the New York Giants. Massaquoi suffered a strained left hamstring in the Browns' game at Buffalo on Sept. 23.
Randy McMichael, TE, San Diego Chargers
Started at TE in the Chargers' 31-24 loss at New Orleans. McMichael has started four of San Diego's five games this season.
Knowshon Moreno, RB, Denver Broncos
Not active in the Broncos' 31-21 loss at New England. Moreno has played in two of Denver's five games this season.
Leonard Pope, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers
Saw action at tight end in the Steelers' 16-14 win over Philadelphia. Pope has played in all four games this season for Pittsburgh.
Dennis Roland, T/TE, Cincinnati Bengals
Started at TE in the Bengals' 17-13 loss to Miami. It was the first start of the season for Roland, who has played in all five games for Cincinnati.
Richard Seymour, DE, Oakland Raiders
Seymour and the Raiders were off in week five. He has eight tackles, including a sack, in four starts this season for Oakland.
Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions
Stafford and the Lions were off this week. He has passed for 1,182 passing yards and three touchdowns this season.
DeAngelo Tyson, DE, Baltimore Ravens
Not active in the Ravens' 9-6 win at Kansas City.
Fernando Velasco, OL, Tennessee Titans
Started at center in the Titans' 30-7 loss at Minnesota. Velasco has started all five games at center for Tennessee.
Blair Walsh, K, Minnesota Vikings
Made all three field goal attempts of 42, 36 and 26 yards in the Vikings' 30-7 win over Tennessee. Walsh is 11-for-12 on field goal attempts this season for NFC North-leading Minnesota.
D.J. Ware, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Ware and the Buccaneers were off in week five. He has rushed for 39 yards and has four receptions this season.
Ben Watson, TE, Cleveland Browns
Started at TE and had one catch for three yards in the Browns' 41-27 loss at the New York Giants. Watson is tied for third on the team with 13 catches for 104 yards.
Will Witherspoon, LB, Tennessee Titans
Had one tackle in the Titans' 30-7 loss at Minnesota. Witherspoon has 29 tackles in five games this season for Tennessee.

Terrance Edwards, WR, Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Had two catches for 69 yards and a touchdown in the Blue Bombers' 27-22 win at Montreal on Monday. Edwards has caught 57 passes for 846 yards and three touchdowns this season.
