Gameday Central - More gameday information

Parking at the Baxter and Physical Plant reserved lots at this Saturday's Georgia-Louisiana Lafayette game has been altered due to construction and repair work being conducted in these areas.

For Baxter Lot permit holders, the ongoing construction project on the Special Collections Library will now affect Hull Street traffic. Hull Street will be temporarily closed from Baxter Street to Florida Avenue.

As a result, the Baxter Lot will only be accessible to designated patrons through the East Hull parking lot. East Hull and Baxter lots will be accessible southbound on Hull Street, near Wray Street and Waddell Street. Once the Baxter Lot is filled to capacity, patrons will be directed to park in the lot across from the Special Collections Library along Hull Street.

The Georgia Athletic Association apologizes to these patrons for the inconvenience but assures all permit holders in this area they will have a parking space in the Baxter Lot or the temporary overflow lot.

UGA Police and parking personnel will be on hand to direct patrons to the proper parking location.

For those patrons holding Physical Plant permits, repairs are under way to correct water damage in the lot. However, the lot is open and pass holders will receive a parking space. Patrons are asked to be aware of the repair areas and work with the parking attendants as they provide direction to an appropriate parking space.

The Athletic Association regrets any inconvenience as a result of these construction and repair projects and will do everything possible to mitigate any parking disruption for the 2010 football season.

Any questions or requests for further information may be directed to the Georgia Bulldog at gadawgs@sports.uga.edu or 877.GA.DAWGS.
