ATHENS, Ga. - Beginning with the Bulldogs' home opener against South Carolina, fans will notice several improvements to the gameday experience including parking, ticketing, concessions and in-game experiences.
"We're pleased to introduce several changes to our gameday experience based on feedback from our fans and evaluations by our staff," Director of Athletics Greg McGarity said, "We feel like these new opportunities will continue to help us make Saturdays between the hedges the best gameday experience in college football."
Gameday Parking Hotline will be available to assist fans with directions, public handicap lot availability, the East Campus gameday shuttle and other gameday information. The operator will only be available on gamedays and can be reached by calling 706-425-3052
All reserved seat tickets are bar-coded and will be scanned for entry at all gates. Electronic scanners will expedite and more accurately verify entry through all gates
The new digital ticketing process will allow fans to easily transfer tickets online and to print-at-home capabilities, reducing the need for in-person will call opportunities on gamedays
UGA Student tickets will continue to be loaded onto their UGA ID Card and only accepted at Gates 1, 3 and 4A
The University of Georgia Athletic Association encourages fans to arrive early at the gates for all home games, beginning with the South Carolina game as this will be our first game using the new ticket scanning system

Chick-fil-A: Fried chicken sandwiches are sold in stands near Section 102(Gate 2), Section 124(Gate 6), Section 313 and Section 323(Gate 7)
Papa John's Pizza: Pepperoni and Cheese pizzas are sold in stands near Sections 105, 109, 125, 128, 134, 205, 222, 234, 306, 315, 334 and 606
Sonny's BBQ: BBQ sandwiches are sold in stands near Sections 105, 106, 116, 128, 134, 144, 210, 222, 227, 308, 323 and 329
Subway: Turkey and ham subs are sold in stands near Sections 106, 116, 128, 134, 210, 222, 227, 308, 315, 329, 323 and 608
Hawkers/Vendors: Number of hawkers/vendors has been increased significantly to better serve fans with beverage, snack and hot dogs in the stands
Misting Stations: For a minimum of the first 3 home games, fans can seek relief from the warm temperatures at misting stations located near Gates 2, 7 and 10
Closed-Captioned Boards: Digital technology has been installed inside the seating area of Sanford Stadium providing captioning of announcements. Two electronic displays (SE and NW corners of the club level façade) will convert Public Address and Game Officials announcements to text for fans to read along
Scoreboard Greetings: Fans can request a birthday, anniversary or special greeting by contacting the promotions office 706-542-8135 firstname.lastname@example.org . Each request has a fee of $100 must be submitted no later than Wednesdays at Noon prior to gamedays. Proceeds from the Scoreboard greetings benefit the general athletic fund and goes towards student-athlete opportunities and scholarships at UGA.
Student Rewards: UGA students can sign up at www.committotheg.com and earn points for attending UGA sporting events. When students swipe their student id card at events, the points are automatically uploaded to their account. Students can earn bonus points by inviting friends to join and connecting their account to their social media. Students can use their points to shop for exclusive Nike gear, Ipads or enter to win contests
Dawg Walk: The Dawg Walk will take place in the Tate Center Parking Lot and begin 1 hour, 50 minutes prior to kickoff each game
