Athens, Ga. --- Nine Georgia football players were named to the 2013 Preseason All-Southeastern Conference Teams, which were voted on by a record 243 media members at SEC Media Days this year in Hoover, Ala.
The Bulldogs were also picked to win the SEC Eastern Division for the third consecutive year. Alabama was selected to win the SEC Western Division as well as the SEC Championship Game.
Senior tight end Arthur Lynch and sophomore tailback Todd Gurley headline the group by being named to the preseason All-SEC first team. The Bulldogs had four players voted on the All-SEC second teams with sophomore tailback Keith Marshall, senior guard Chris Burnette, sophomore outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins and junior cornerback Damian Swann.
The Bulldogs start the season with a non-conference matchup at Clemson on Aug. 31 at 8 p.m. ABC will televise the game from Memorial Stadium.
