ATHENS, Ga. --- It's time to get suited up once again this Friday and Saturday as former University of Georgia Bulldogs Jon and Matt Stinchcomb and David Greene host the sixth annual "Countdown to Kickoff" event, benefiting the Georgia Transplant Foundation and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

This year's event will tee off with the Celebrity Dawgleg Golf Classic at UGA's championship golf course. Participants can win exclusive hole and raffle prizes, while enjoying the opportunity to tee off with some of UGA's greatest coaches and players for a golf experience like no other. Individual spots are $300 and a foursome is $1000.

Bulldawg Illustrated's Fan Festival presented by Shaw Industries will take place on Saturday.  Fans of all ages will meet their favorite Bulldogs at the University's practice fields for autographs, pictures, games and much more. For the greatest and bravest of fans, the 2011 UGA football team will all be on hand to run drills, play games and throw passes. General admission to the event is $25 or $75 for a family four-pack.

"Last year's event was our best year, yet!" said Matt Stinchcomb. "Bulldog fans were thrilled to have a chance to spend one-on-one time with their favorite current and former players, and this year we hope to make it even better!"

Past "Countdown to Kickoff" event attendees have included Vince Dooley, Garrison Hearst, DJ Shockley, Mohamed Massaquoi, Joe Cox, Ben Watson, Caleb King, Buck Belue, Randall Godfrey, Rennie Curran and Scott Woerner, just to name a few.
