NEW YORK-----University of Georgia offensive lineman Clint Boling and receiver Kris Durham were selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday, while Shaun Chapas was picked in the seventh round. Boling was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals with pick No. 101, while Durham was taken six spots later with No. 107 by the Seattle Seahawks, and Chapas was the 220th pick by the Dallas Cowboys.

A total of six Bulldogs were taken in the three-day draft, with five being selected in the first four rounds. In addition to Boling, Durham and Chapas, A.J Green was taken fourth overall by Cincinnati, while Justin Houston and Akeem Dent were selected in the third round by Kansas City and Atlanta, respectively.

Georgia’s six NFL draft picks tied LSU for the most of any SEC team. This marks the second time in three years that six Bulldogs were drafted.

Boling becomes the 11th Bulldog to be drafted by the Bengals and third in the last two years, joining A.J. Green in Thursday’s first round and Geno Atkins in 2010. With Durham, Seattle selected a Georgia player for the ninth time and the first time since Brandon Coutu in 2008. Chapas is the 10th UGA player taken by Dallas and the first since Bruce Thornton in 2004.

Boling, a native of Alpharetta, Ga., finished his career with 49 starts, including the last 38 in a row, and finished second in UGA history for a non-kicker in career starts. He was voted All-SEC in each of his four years as a Bulldog.

A native of Calhoun, Ga., Durham appeared in 11 games for the Bulldogs last season and hauled in 32 passes for 659 yards and three touchdowns. He led the team in receiving five times including a career-best 112 yards on four catches with a touchdown vs. Vanderbilt and finished his career with 1,109 receiving yards.

Chapas, from St. Augustine, Fla., appeared in 11 games making nine starts last year and served as a key blocker in the backfield throughout his Georgia career. He scored four touchdowns for the Bulldogs in 2010, two rushing and two receiving.
