ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia football team concluded spring drills on Thursday with a 90-minute session on the Woodruff Practice Fields.
The Bulldogs wrapped up the spring with two practices following last Saturday's G-Day Game. On Thursday, Georgia's players worked out in helmets and shorts.
"We challenged the guys to finish today," Georgia coach Mark Richt said. "It was the last day and they could either just try to get it over with or they could get better, and that's what they did. They had a lot of enthusiasm and finished on a high note. They know what their coaches are expecting of them and what they've got to do to improve. They'll spend some time with their coaches and take ownership of the evaluations. We want them to set their goals and go after them."
The Bulldogs will kick off the 2014 season at home on Aug. 30 against Clemson. Georgia's Southeastern Conference opener will be Sept. 13 at South Carolina.
