ATHENS -- University of Georgia senior offensive tackle Trinton Sturdivant suffered a torn anterior cruciate knee ligament during Saturday's Bulldog scrimmage, according to UGA Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine Ron Courson.

Tests confirmed the torn ACL on his right knee. Sturdivant has had two previous ACL injuries both to his left knee.

Courson said Sturdivant will undergo surgery sometime this week to repair the knee ligament and is expected to conduct his rehab at UGA.
