Fans can bid on the opportunity through an online auction on georgiadogs.com to compete with one of the former Georgia quarterbacks to earn the chance to win $25,000 (split between the winning fan and the Johnathan Taylor Fund). Each auction winner will be paired with the quarterback they selected for the competition.
The legends will compete in the three skills challenges, including throwing pass routes to the online auction winners.
The quarterback that earns the most points will secure a donation from University of Georgia corporate partner IBEW Local 613 and Plumbers, Pipefitters and Service Technicians Local 72 to the Johnathan Taylor Fund and will also earn the opportunity for their fan partner to make a toss to win $25,000 to be split between the fan and the Johnathan Taylor Fund. If the fan misses the toss, they will receive a 42" HD LCD Television and two (2) 2011 Georgia Football Season Tickets.
The auction closes on April 14th and the winners will be notified on April 15th. All participants must be at least 5 years removed from playing high school, college or professional football. The winners will join the quarterbacks on the field for the halftime competition and will have the opportunity to take photos and and receive autographs.
