ATHENS --- University of Georgia football coach Mark Richt will be inducted into the Palm Beach County (Fla.) Sports Hall of Fame Sunday, March 25, joining nine other inductees being recognized by their hometown.

Chosen for achieving excellence in the world of sports, the list of inductees also includes Baltimore Ravens receiver Anquan Boldin, former FSU receiver Jessie Hester, and former Villanova national champion head basketball coach Rollie Massimino.

"The 2012 Hall of Fame inductees represent an elite class of athletes and individuals who have a passion and commitment for sports," said Joe Ceravolo, Chairman of the Hall of Fame Committee. "Each person represents the diversity of talent prevalent in Palm Beach County. We are proud to have them as part of our community and honored to have them join the other 238 accomplished athletes and professionals that are members of the Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame."

Richt played quarterback at Boca Raton High School before earning a scholarship at the University of Miami. As head coach at UGA, he has compiled an 11-year record of 106-38, won two SEC championships, and four SEC eastern division titles.
