No. 12 Georgia Sacks No. 3 Florida 17-9

The Georgia Bulldogs forced six turnovers in beating the No. 3 Florida Gators 17-9 in Jacksonville giving Georgia control of their destiny to return to the SEC Championship.

Georgia forced a turnover on Florida's first drive when Damian Swann blitzed and sacked Florida's Jeff Driskel forcing a fumble that Jarvis Jones recovered at the Florida 20-yard line. Three plays later Todd Gurley rushed over the left guard for a 10-yard score.

Both teams were held out of the endzone until the fourth quarter when Aaron Murray connected with Malcolm Mitchell on a 45-yard score that put Georgia up 17-9.

On Florida's ensuing drive, TE Jordan Reed was a yard from the endzone and tried to jump a trio of converging Dogs but Jones forced a fumble that Sanders Commings recovered in the endzone for a touchback.

Jones finished with 13 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries.

Gurley tallied 118 yards on 27 carries to lead the Georgia offense.

Florida intercepted Aaron Murray three times on the day. Georgia recovered four fumbles and intercepted Driskel twice.

Georgia sacked Driskel four times including a pair by Jones. Georgia was penalized a season high 14 times for 132 yards and failed to converted only 1 of 10 third downs.
