Bulldogs Drop High Scoring Affair with Gamecocks

Isaiah Crowell led Georgia with 118 yards rushing on 16 carries and 40 yards receiving on two catches and scored a pair of touchdowns in his first game Between the Hedges but South Carolina came away with a 45-42 victory in Athens Saturday night.

Aaron Murray who was just 3-8 at the half for 53 yards and a TD ended up 19-29 for 248 yards and 4 scores.

Marcus Lattimore, South Carolina's super sophomore running back had a game high 176 yards on 27 carries. Melvin Ingram scored a pair for South Carolina including a 68 yard run off a fake punt and a fumble recovery that turned out to be the game winner.
