Georgia Drops Outback Bowl To Michigan State in OT 33-30
Tampa Bay, Fla. --- Senior Brandon Boykin made the most of his final bowl game scoring on a safety, a punt return and a reception but Georgia fell to Michigan State 33-30 on a blocked field goal in the third overtime at the Outback Bowl in Tampa.
Georgia got the scoring started with a safety on Michigan State's first offensive play as Boykin tackled Keshawn Martin two yards into the end zone.
Moments later, after a 3 and out, Michigan State punted to Boykin. Boykin caught the ball at the 8 and evaded the Spartans for a big 92-yard punt return giving Georgia a 16-0 lead.
