2003 -- Listed as number two TE at conclusion of spring drills.........played in 13 games during '03 season including significant work on special teams......part of Georgia team that won 32 games from 2001-03 and ranked among the top five teams nationally in winning percentage during that time.
2004 -- Outstanding spring.....recipient of the Paul and June Martin Endowed Football Scholarship...pulled in four passes for 77 yards...posted two "dominator blocks" during the regular season...back spasms limited his play during the regular season, holding him to action in nine games, including a pair of starts...part of team that posted 42-10 record from 2001-04 (sixth best in the country), three straight seasons of 10 or more wins, three straight bowl victories, and three consecutive national top six finishes..
2005 -- Caught one pass for 24 yards in annual spring game... caught his first career touchdown (a 56-yard strike from D.J. Shockley) and had a career-high 111 receiving yards against Boise State...grabbed his second touchdown of the season and of his career against Louisiana-Monroe...played in every game including four starts....winner of the team's Most Improved Offensive Player Award .....recipient of William J. MacKenna Football Scholarship...
