High School: North Springs...All-City, All Fulton County....All-Area....as senior in 1996, chosen one of Atlanta Journal Constitution North Fulton "Formidable Four"...played both running back and linebacker....North Fulton Player of the Week for performance against Tucker (136 rushing yards, 1 TD, 10 tackles, pass deflection)...All Northside Neighbor Football Team as running back....recipient of 1997 North Springs High School VIP Award....selected Niketown Athlete of the Month and Year from four-county metro Atlanta area.......100 Percent Wrong Club High School Running Back Award ......Team MVP and Outstanding Running Back Award....team captain....in nine games recorded 1,142 rushing yards, 11 TD's, 95 tackles, four fumble recoveries, and two interceptions as LB ....did not begin playing football until his junior year in 1995 when he rushed for 646 yards and four TD's and added 133 tackles as LB....Named All-North Fulton Extra Football Team as linebacker....was also standout basketball player....High School Coaches: Norris Vaughn, Michael Richards.

College: 1997 - Western Kentucky - As true freshman, carried 59 times for 305 yards and two TD's for team that finished 10-2. Georgia - 1998 - Redshirted. 1999 - Played in all 12 games in '99 including duty on the kickoff return and field goal teams....2000 - Listed as number two at one running back position at conclusion of spring drills....played in all 11 regular season games including two starts at RB.....scored TD vs. Ole Miss....also exceptional special teams player....carried four times for 14 yards and one TD in Georgia's 37-14 victory over Virginia in the 2000 Oahu Bowl, Georgia's fourth consecutive bowl victory.... 2001 - Outstanding spring which included seven carries for 36 yards in annual Spring G-Day game....listed as number one FB heading into pre-season practice....Came out of virtually nowhere to lead the Buldogs in rushing with 691 yards....also led the team in touchdowns with nine (seven rushing, two receiving)....was the hero of Georgia?s pulsating come-from-behind victory over then-No. 6 Tennessee (Oct. 6) in Knoxville as he caught the game-winning touchdown pass, a five-yard toss from David Greene, with five seconds left.....caught three passes for a career-best 88 yards at Vanderbilt (Oct. 13)....accounted for 159 yards in total offense vs. Kentucky (Oct. 20)....authored fabulous performance in first career start at tailback at Ole Miss (Nov. 17), setting then-career highs in rushing attempts (26) and yards rushing (192), and tied another career best with two rushing touchdowns....came through with workmanlike effort at Georgia Tech (Nov. 24), setting career highs in rushing attempts (39) and rushing yards (207) for the second consecutive week...it was the most yards rushing for a Georgia running back since 1992 when Garrison Hearst ran for 246 yards on 21 carries in a 30-20 win over Vanderbilt (Oct. 17)....his 39 rushing attempts were the fourth most in school history....went over the 100-yard mark for the third consecutive game with 124 yards rushing and one touchdown vs. Houston (Dec. 1).....recipient of William K. and Jane H. Holmes Endowed Football Scholarship....elected by teammates as permanent overall team captain at conclusion of regular season....selected as the 2001 offensive team MVP.....carried 27 times for 132 yards and one TD vs. Boston College in Music City Bowl....became first Georgia back since Garrison Hearst in 1992 to rush for over 100 yards in four consecutive games.....Major: Business.
