Doug Saylor, a native of Newnan, Ga., and graduate of East Coweta HS, was named the program coordinator on offense for the University of Georgia's coaching staff prior to the 2012 spring practice.

Saylor has been associated with the program since joining the staff as a student assistant in November 2007 working with the offense (mainly receivers) and special teams. He continued his work with the offense over the next four years, serving primarily as the signal caller to the QBs during games.

A qualifier for the 2011 Georgia Amateur Golf Championship, Saylor lettered in football, basketball, baseball and golf for the Indians in high school. He started at quarterback as a senior under current Reinhardt College head coach and mentor Danny Cronic. Saylor also helped East Coweta finish second at the GHSA 5A state golf tournament in 2007.

Son of Darrell and Kathy, Saylor graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Sport Management in December 2011.
