Position:
Graduate Assistant - Offense

Dan Inman, a native of Hope Mills, N.C., and graduate of South View High School, was named a graduate assistant on offense for the University of Georgia's coaching staff following the 2012 spring practice.

This is Inman's second stop in Athens after suiting up for the Bulldogs on the offensive line from 2003-06. The 6-7, 319-pound tackle started 48 games and played in 52 during his career. He was named a Freshman All-American in 2003 before earning All-SEC honors as a junior and senior.

Inman also was a recipient of the program's Iron Dawg Award and was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week five times in his career. Will Friend, who is Georgia's offensive line coach, was a graduate assistant for the Bulldogs during Inman's playing career.

In 2008, Inman coached with his father, Wayne Inman, at Terry Sanford High School in North Carolina. Inman worked with the offensive line and tight ends, including 2012 NFL Third Round draft pick Dwayne Allen. Wayne Inman played under Pat Dye at East Carolina and was later inducted into the school's athletic Hall of Fame.

Following his time at Terry Sanford, Inman then was a graduate assistant who worked with the offense at the University of North Carolina for the 2009 season.

At South View, Inman was All-State in football and an All-Conference wrestler. He played in both the Shrine Bowl for the Carolinas and the East-West All-Star game.

Inman graduated with a degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Georgia in 2007. He returned to school at UNC-Pembroke and earned his Master's degree in Education in 2012.

Inman is married to the former Erin Donovan.
