Christian Robinson, a native of Lawrenceville, Ga., and graduate of Greater Atlanta Christian, was named a graduate assistant for the defense in 2013 following a standout career as a Bulldog linebacker.
After redshirting during the 2008 season and being named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll, Robinson played in 51 games from 2009-2012, starting 17 of those. The 6-2, 235-pound linebacker tallied 159 tackles over that span, including 4.5 sacks and 22.5 tackles for loss. Robinson, who twice posted 13-tackle performances, was named a team captain three times during his career.
The Bulldogs compiled a 46-21 record during Robinson's time in Athens. He helped lead the Bulldogs to five bowl games as Georgia finished with three top-20 rankings during those years, including a No. 5 ranking in 2013. That year, Robinson directed a defense that held six opponents to 14 points or less.
Robinson was a First Team All-State selection following his senior season at Greater Atlanta Christian. He had 64 tackles, caught 48 passes for 876 yards and 13 touchdowns, and rushed for 83 yards during his final campaign.
Robinson graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Sport Management in December, 2012.
