Jonathan Batson, a native of Charlotte, N.C., was named Graduate Assistant for Offense in 2012, previously serving as the Program Coordinator for the 2011 year. He originally joined the Bulldogs' staff as a student assistant in 2010 following his playing career with the Bulldogs.

Batson lettered on the Georgia football team as a quarterback in 2009. He appeared in one game and was a member of the Bulldog scout team in 2008 and 2009.

A graduate of Providence Day School in Charlotte, N.C., Batson set a school record with a 4,100 career passing yards and 41 touchdowns and led the Chargers to the state championship game in 2005. Batson received his degree from UGA in economics in May, 2011.
