Charlton County...The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Class A All-State...Georgia Sports Writers Association Class A All-State Honorable Mention...1997 Region 2-A Offensive Player of the Year...named All-Region at running back and defensive back his senior season...1996 All-Region defensive back...named Team MVP and Team Captain as a senior...set school records in rushing attempts (267), TDs in season (21), and in 100 yard games in a season with nine in his senior season...added 1,552 yards rushing his senior season....on defense had 43 tackles and four interceptions...is the school's second all-time leading rusher behind Champ Bailey... Region 2-A pole-vault champ....High School Coach: Rich McWhorter.

Prep School:
Hargrave Military Academy...played both offense and defense...led team in rushing...scored seven TDs...had three interceptions as DB...Prep School Coach: Lonnie Messick.

1999: Redshirted...

2000: Listed as number three at one RB position at conclusion of spring drills...played in nine games at RB during 2000 season rushing for 49 yards and one TD....one of the team's top special teams players with eight total tackles...moved to defensive back during bowl practice; however, moved back to running back prior to spring drills....

2001: One of the spring's biggest surprises....made noticeable improvement every day according to head coach Mark Richt...carried nine times for 48 yards in G-Day game....listed as number three tailback at conclusion of spring drills....recipient of Joseph F. Espy Endowed Football Scholarship....played in seven games, rushing 13 times for 28 yards...made eight carries for 16 yards in season opener against Arkansas State...three carries for 12 yards was his high in SEC games...also returned kickoffs during part of season.

2002: Moved to CB prior to spring drills....recorded three tackles in annual spring G-Day game....listed as number two SCB at conclusion of spring drills....cousin of Georgia's three Bailey brothers--Ronald, Champ, and Boss....recipient of Joseph F. Espy Endowed Football Scholarship....played in 13 games mostly on special teams...member of team that won Georgia's first SEC championship in 20 years, defeated FSU for Nokia Sugar Bowl title, set school record for most victories in a season (13), and finished with a final national ranking of No. 3......part of defense that finished first in the SEC and fourth nationally in Scoring Defense (15.1 ppg), first in the SEC in Red Zone Defense (58.8%), second in the SEC and 19th nationally in Rushing Defense (114.0 ypg), fourth in the SEC and 15th nationally in Total Defense (303.5 ypg), and allowed only 30 total second half points in the final seven games of the season.

2003: Recorded five tackles in annual G-Day game....listed as number three SC at conclusion of spring drills....played in 13 games including one start at CB and also produced outstanding special teams play during the season....recorded five tackles in season opener vs. Clemson......Part of Georgia team that won 32 games from 2001-03, ranked among the top five teams nationally in winning percentage, and part of a Georgia defense that ranked 2nd nationally in Scoring Defense (14.5 ppg), 4th in Total Defense (276.86 ypg), 6th in Passing Defense (174.50 ypg),14th nationally in Turnover Margin (+.79), and 4th in number of scoreless quarters (25) among the AP's final Top Ten teams....did not participate in Capital One Bowl due to academic deficiencies....
