ATHENS, Ga.--Georgia sophomore Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was named to the Coaches Pre-Season All-SEC First Team, the conference office announced Friday.

 

During his freshman season, Caldwell-Pope led the team in minutes while averaging 5.1 rebounds and 13.2 points per game.

 

The coaches preseason All-SEC first and second teams consist of a minimum of eight players on each squad, voted on by the SEC Head Men’s Basketball Coaches. No ties were broken and no predicted order of finish was made.
