ATHENS ---- The Georgia men's basketball team will play two of its SEC Eastern Division rivals during ESPN's "Super Tuesday" hoops coverage in 2012, the network announced Tuesday afternoon.

Georgia will play at Florida on Jan. 10 at 7:00 p.m. and two weeks later the Bulldogs will entertain Kentucky in a 9:00 p.m. tipoff.  Last season Georgia played three Tuesday night games on the ESPN family of channels:  all home games vs. Tennessee, Florida and Xavier.

Four of the seven SEC teams featured in Super Tuesday games this coming season played in the NCAA Tournament in 2011:  Kentucky (Final Four participant), Florida (Elite Eight), as well as Georgia and Vanderbilt.

The Bulldogs made their first NCAA Tournament appearance in four years last season, finishing the 2011 campaign at 21-12 overall, 9-7 in the SEC.  Senior guards Gerald Robinson (12.2 ppg) and Dustin Ware (44% 3FGs) are Georgia's top returnees.
