Former Bulldogs Wrap Up Overseas Professional Seasons

  • Performed admirably at the point guard position, considering his lack of experience there as a high schooler.
  • Had started every game this season before serving a 1-game suspension Feb. 26 at Vanderbilt.
  • Led Georgia in minutes, assists, steals, free throw attempts and makes, as well as ranking second in rebounding.
  • Had more steals than did 2004 SEC Defensive Player of the Year Rashad Wright in his final year.
  • Got his two highest scoring totals in Georgia's games vs. Tennessee, shooting 67 percent FGs with 8 assists.
  • His 17 points against Western Ky. were the most by a Georgia freshman in his first game since Dominique Wilkins in 1979.
  • Staved off defeat by making a tying jumper with :00 left against Oregon State.
  • Led the team in FTAs and FTMs. Had struggled at the line all season until showing vast improvement in the last two weeks of the regular season (21x28, .750).

  • Considered one of the top prospects to come out of New York City last year.
  • Considered a "combo" guard but will get a very good opportunity for major minutes at the point for Georgia in 2004-05.
  • Built a reputation in high school as a prolific scorer, doing from inside and outside.

    High School (Arch. Molloy):

  • Coach: Jack Curran
  • Named MVP of the Catholic High School Athletic Association and led his team to the CHSAA title
  • Averaged 28.2 points as a senior and finished his career as the No. 3 scorer in Stanners' history.
  • Archbishop Molloy has produced such greats as Kenny Anderson, Kenny Smith and 1972 Olympic Kevin Joyce.
  • First-team All-Queens team pick the past two years by both Newsday and the N.Y. Daily News.
  • Scored 147 points in four games during a holiday tournament last year in Bristol, Tenn.
  • Played AAU ball for the highly successful Gauchos team, which won several national tournaments in the past two years.
