Georgia (11-19, 1-8 SEC) returns home Friday for an SEC series with Missouri (9-16, 2-7 SEC) after posting a 3-2 mark during a five-game road swing against Clemson, #8 Kentucky and Kennesaw State. During that stretch, the Bulldogs  snapped a nine-game losing streak and secured their first SEC win of the year. Georgia posted a 5-3 road win over Clemson, went 1-2 against #8 Kentucky and then beat Kennesaw State 2-1.

The Bulldogs have never faced Missouri. The series begins Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday's game will be televised live by ESPNU at 8:03 p.m. (Announcers: Tom Hart, Chris Burke), and it concludes Sunday with a 2 p.m. start.  Georgia is batting .274 with a 4.63 ERA and fielding .976. *Junior LHP Patrick Boling (2-3, 3.83 ERA) and freshman RHP Sean McLaughlin (3-2, 2.70 ERA) will flip spots in the rotation against Missouri. Boling will start Friday after earning a win over #8 Kentucky. McLaughlin pitched a career-high eight innings and got a no decision last Friday against the Wildcats. Sophomore LHP/OF Jared Walsh (1-3, 2.55 ERA, 3 SV) will make his first career pitching start on Sunday after 12 relief appearances this year. Also, Walsh has made 24 starts (22-RF, 2-DH) in the field this season and is batting .309-2-12.

*Sophomore outfielder Hunter Cole (.292-3-20) is starting to heat up after batting .370 (10-for-27) in the past six games. His older brother, Dylan (0-0, 1.80 ERA, 2 SV), earned his first save as a Bulldog in the 7-6 win over #8 Kentucky and then got his second this past Tuesday in a 2-1 road win over Kennesaw State. Dylan had 10 saves in a two-year career at Furman before coming to UGA in 2012. He sat out last season as a transfer.

*Senior SS Kyle Farmer (.319-1-30) ranks fourth in school history with 62 career doubles. He ranks among the SEC leaders this season with 11. He is on pace to finish his career among the top 10 in school history in Games Played, At Bats, Hits, Total Bases and RBI plus post the Highest Felding Percentage for a Shortstop. In 189 games including 188 starts, Farmer is fielding .966.

*Sophomore RHP Ross Ripple has provided a steady bullpen presence this season, going 1-0 with a 1.27 ERA with 21 strikeouts and just six walks. Last week in two outings, he allowed just one run in 6.1 innings and picked up a win at Clemson. With 14 appearances on the year, Ripple ranks second to sophomore LHP Jarrett Brown (0-0, 2.20 ERA) who leads the team with 15. Senior LHP Blake Dieterich (1-0, 1.37 ERA) returned to action in the UK series after missing the past two weeks with shoulder stiffness.
