ATHENS, GA. --- Due to inclement weather Saturday, the Georgia-LSU baseball series will conclude with a doubleheader Sunday beginning at noon.
With Saturday's game postponed, Sunday's action will feature a pair of seven-inning games per the Southeastern Conference inclement weather policy. Ninth-ranked LSU (17-5, 1-3 SEC) won game one of the series Friday 7-3 over the Bulldogs (9-13, 1-3 SEC).
Fans holding a ticket for Saturday's postponed game can exchange that ticket for any remaining regular season game at Foley Field this year. Rainout tickets can be exchanged at the Foley Field Box Office while tickets are still available. Sunday's tickets for the Georgia-LSU baseball contest will be good for admission to both games of the doubleheader.
In the first game Sunday, Georgia will start junior Michael Palazzone (2-1, 2.64 ERA) while the Tigers counter with freshman Kevin Gausman (2-1, 2.76). In the second game, Georgia junior Craig Gullickson (1-1, 6.00 ERA) with LSU planning to go with senior Ben Alsup (3-2, 3.42).
