Georgia Splits Series against Xavier

The Georgia Bulldogs bounced back after a 5-4 loss to score a season-high 11 runs to defeat Xavier, 11-6, on Wednesday night at Foley Field to split the mid-week series.

UGA Career (2015-16): Appeared in 52 games with 19 starts...Batting .239 with two double and seven RBI...Fielding .972 (46 putouts, 57 assists, 3 errors)

2016 (Sophomore):
Appeared in 27 games with six starts (4-2B, 2-SS) as team went 27-30 and advanced to the SEC Tournament

*Batted .160 with two doubles and two RBI in 25 at bats

*Went 2-for-3 with a double and perfect fielding in five total chances in a start at shortstop against Western Kentucky on Feb. 28

*Delivered pinch-hit RBI-double at No. 10 Miss. State on March 24

*Posted a .957 Fielding Percentage in 46 total chances and only two errors on the season came as third baseman at Mercer on Feb. 24 and then was perfect the rest of the year

2015 (Freshman): Appeared in 25 game with 13 starts (10-2B, 3-3B) as team went 26-28

*Batted .286 with four sacrifice bunts, two stolen bases and five RBI

*Collected RBI-single in first career at bat that came in season opener against Eastern Illinois and played one inning at shortstop

*Made first career start in the Appalachian State series in March as a third baseman and posted perfect fielding in both games

*Went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in the 6-0 win over Ga. Tech at Turner Field in front of a crowd of 18,792 on May 12

*Started the final seven games of the season at second base and batted .280 (7-for-25) with three RBI and made just one error in 34 total chances (.971)

High School: A graduate of Lambert where he played for Jamie Corr

*Hit .290 and started all 38 games at shortstop in leading team to a 6A state title and final No. 1 national ranking

*Lambert was named national high school champions by Collegiate Baseball/USA Today after going 36-2 including 26-0 in the regular season

*Member of Team Georgia Baseball Academy (TGBA) in the summer and batted .361 with a .458 on-base percentage and 15 stolen bases in 47 games in 2013, the 2012 team claimed the WWBA 16u national title
