*Named to 2012 UGA Athletic Director's Academic Honor Rolland SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll
High School: An Honor graduate of Sequoyah where he played for Joseph Jones
*Batted .500 with nine home runs, 10 doubles, a .606 on-base percentage and 18-for-18 in stolen bases as a senior
*Named the 2011 Cherokee Tribune Player of the Year and to the Georgia Dugout Club All-State team
*Earned All-State, All-County and All-Region honors as a senior
*Played for Team Georgia in the 2011 Heartland Baseball Classic in Norman, Okla., and made All-Tournament team as the squad finished second
*Hit .317 with two home runs and seven RBI as a junior
*Batted a team-best .403 with 25 RBI in leading the Chiefs to the playoffs
*Helped team go 16-12 and earned first team All-Region and All-County honors as well as offensive MVP as a sophomore
*Lettered in football and has earned academic honors including the Lamp of Knowledge
*Won 2011 Connie Mack World Series national summer title as a member of the Midland Redskins
