ATHENS, Ga. --- Three members of Georgia’s track and field and cross country teams have been included on the 2014 CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District teams.

Senior Luke Baker and junior Brandon Lord, who are both set to compete at the NCAA East Prelims in Jacksonville on Thursday night in the 10,000 meters, represent the Bulldog men on the NCAA Division I District 3 team.

Lucie Ondraschkova, who recently graduated after a stellar career with the Lady Bulldogs, has been included on the 10-woman academic squad.

Voting for the Academic All-America teams will begin on June 3 and the teams will be announced in late June.

Baker, a native of McDonough, was also included as a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic individual following the 2013 cross country season.  The two-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll and Athletic Director Honor Roll helped lead the Bulldogs to a school record three NCAA Cross Country Championships in a row.

Baker also played a large part as Georgia clinched its first NCAA South Regional team title in 2013.  He finished fourth at both the 2013 SEC and NCAA South Regional Cross Country Championship meets for First Team All-SEC and All-Region honors.  Baker stands sixth on UGA's all-time list in 10,000 (29:37.45).

Lord, a native of Chattanooga, Tenn., is a two-time USTFCCCA All-Academic individual.  The three-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll is a Presidential Scholar, on the Dean's List and on the Athletic Director Honor Roll.  Lord was also a leader on Georgia’s cross team that advanced to the last three Nationals and won the 2013 regional title.

He scored in all six of his 2013 cross meets, including winning the Georgia Cross Country Invitational.  Lord is No. 2 on Georgia's all-time top-10 list in the 10,000m with a 2014 time of 29:10.87 and is also racing in the 5000 at the East Prelims.

Ondraschkova, a native of Opava, Czech Republic, was selected to 2013 Capital One Academic All-America Third Team and is a four-time USTFCCCA All-Academic individual.  A member of the UGA Leadership Academy and Blue Key honor society, she received the Excellence in Finance award in her degree program.

Ondraschkova is a Presidential Scholar on the Dean's List who was named the 2013 USTFCCCA South Region Women's Field Athlete of the Year.  She is a three-time First Team All-American in the pentathlon/heptathlon and advanced to NCAA Championships in five consecutive years.  Ondraschkova scored at seven SEC meets in her career before graduating in May 2014.
