High School: Finished fifth at both the GHSA AAAAA state cross country meet and in the 3200-meter run at the state track meet as a senior...Competed in the Foot Locker Southeast Championships twice...Won region titles in cross country and the 3200 in track as a senior and also in cross country as a junior...Selected for Team Georgia twice...Member of All-County in cross country all four years and in track as a sophomore and a senior...Set Etowah school records in the 4x800, 3200 and 5k...Four-time MVP of the cross country team...Named Cherokee Tribune Runner of the Year three times...Named The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Runner of the Year as a freshman...Personal-best times of 18:51 in cross country 5k, 11:27 in the 3200 and 5:14 in the 1600...Helped lead Etowah to region cross country championships in 2006 and 2007...Named a Who's Who honoree as a senior and awarded the AJC Cup...Perfect attendance all of high school...A Student Ambassador and leader of READERS (athletes reading to grade school students)...Member of Homecoming Court, National Honors Society, National Beta Club and Leadership Council.
