High School: Captured the 3200 meters championship at the GHSA AAAAA state meet...Named captain of the cross country team as a senior...Third at the region meet in the 3200 as a junior...Personal-best times of 11:37 (3200), 5:23 (1600) and 19:57 (5k)...Helped lead her cross country team to three consecutive region championships...Part of cross country team that advanced to state as a sophomore...Also swam at Harrison and was part of squad that advanced to state her sophomore year...Graduated with honors and was 25th out of 520 classmates...Member of Key Club and National Honors Society and won the Vince Dooley Award and the Agnes Scott Book Award as well as the DAR Good Citizen Award.
