2004: Outdoor- Won the Clemson Relays with seasonal best mark of 161-7 before suffering season-ending injury. Indoor- Did not compete.
2003: Outdoor- Earned All-America honors, placing third in the javelin at the NCAA Championships (166-6)...won the javelin at the NCAA East Region Championships (168-3) for an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships in the event...won the javelin at the SEC Championships (163-9)...posted a career-best and NCAA regional qualifying mark of 169'4" in the javelin to place second at the Sea Ray Relays...the mark not only ranks her second all-time at Georgia in the event, it broke the Canadian junior and senior national records...won the javelin at the Clemson Relays (159-11), Spec Towns Invitational (165-3), and Johnson/Joyner-Kersee Invitational (157-4)...placed fourth in the javelin at the Drake Relays (155-8). Indoor- Did not compete.
High School: Placed 12th in the javelin at the 2002 World Junior Championships in Kingston, Jamaica...placed third at the 2001 Canadian Championships in Edmonton, Alberta...placed eighth at the 2001 Francophone Games in Ottawa...first Canadian prep to throw over 50 meters (50.13 meters/164-0)...holds the Canadian high school and British Columbia provincial record...held the Canadian junior record in 2001...provincial champion in the javelin in 2002...also played volleyball and basketball...led basketball team to a Lower Mainland title in 2002..named to provincial tournament first team in 2002 and second team in 2001.
Personal: Born November 22, 1984...daughter of Doug and Donalda Woodward...majoring in Fisheries and Aquaculture...father played football and soccer for the University of Hawaii and was her high school basketball coach.
