2014: Outdoor - Was fourth in the javelin at the Yellow Jacket Invite with a mark of 196 feet, 5 inches and was sixth in the discus (154-11)...Scored the second-best score of his career (behind his school record mark) to take second in the Bulldog Decathlon with 8,123 points thanks to performances of: 11.18-100-meter dash, 24-1.75-long jump, 47-4.25-shot put, 7-1-high jump, 51.48-400, 15.03-110 hurdles, 152-9-discus, 16-2.75-pole vault, 192-1-javelin and 4:38.45-1500...Scored a facility record 7,863 points to win his second consecutive decathlon title at the SEC Championships thanks in part to a personal-best mark of 17-0.75 to win the pole vault...Won his first national title with a score of 8,182 in the decathlon at the NCAA Championships thanks in part to winning the high jump in Oregon.
2014: Indoor - Won his second conference multi-event title in a row (2013 decathlon outdoors) after scoring 5,859 points in the heptathlon at the SEC Championships, topping the nearest competitor by more than 500 points...Established a school record and earned second-place honors and a First Team All-America certificate after exploding for 6,044 points at the NCAA Championships...Tied for fifth in the open pole vault at the Auburn Invite with a mark of 16 feet, ¾ inches...Also lifted the shot put a personal-best distance of 46-6.75 for 15th at Auburn...Won the heptathlon by finishing first in five events at the Cherry & Silver Invite thanks his score of 5,811 points...Was sixth in the open pole vault at the Texas A&M Invite with a mark of 16-3.25.
2013: Outdoor - Scored for the Bulldogs at the NCAA Championships after recording 8,017 points for fifth place in the decathlon, which gave him a First Team All-America certificate...Named SEC Outdoor Men's Freshman Field Athlete of the Year...Won Georgia's first conference title in the decathlon since 2002 after scoring 7,781 points at the SEC Championships...Named the USTFCCCA National Men's Athlete of the Week and the SEC Men's Field Athlete of the Week after scoring a world-leading 8,223 points to win the Bulldog Decathlon with a score that was the No. 8 all-time mark in the NCAA for wind legal scores...Finished second in the open javelin after reaching 199-8 at the Yellow Jacket Invite.
2013: Indoor - Shot to No. 2 in the school record books after completing his first collegiate heptathlon with a score of 5,755 points at the Razorback Invite, thanks in part to wins in the high jump (6 feet, 11 ¼ inches) and 1000-meter run (2:43.08)...Went over the pole vault bar at a career-high mark of 16-5.50 to take fifth at the Akron Invite...Won the open pole vault after reaching 16-0.75 at the VT Elite Meet...Earned runner-up honors in the heptathlon at the SEC Championships after scoring 5,693 points, thanks in part to personal bests in the 60 (7.22) and long jump (23-7.25)...Posted seven personal-best marks (60 - 7.19; 1000 - 2:39.72; 60 hurdles - 8.28; pole vault - 16-8.75; long jump - 24-1.75; shot put - 44-9; heptathlon - 5,975 points) to finish fourth in the heptathlon at the NCAA Championships for a First Team All-America certificate.
