2012: Outdoor - Took fourth at his final SEC Championships after scoring 7,416 points in the decathlon...Finished fourth in the decathlon at the Bulldog Decathlon with 7,365 points after tying for first in the pole vault (15 feet, 11 inches) and finishing second in the discus (130-4)...Cleared 16 feet to finish fourth in the pole vault at the Georgia Relays.
2012: Indoor - Finished eighth in the heptathlon (5,476) at the Razorback Invitational...Finished ninth at the SEC Championships with a score of 4,638 despite not having a height in the pole vault.
2011: Outdoor - Scored a career-best 7,903 points to improve his No. 2 spot in the school record books and finish third in the decathlon with his third All-America certificate at the NCAA Championships...Won the first two events of the decathlon to help him finish fourth at the SEC Championships...Reached a personal-best UGA height of 16-6.75 to finish sixth in the open pole vault at the SEC Championships...Had four career-best performances before winning the decathlon with a personal-best 7,659 points at the decathlon at the Sea Ray Relays, which gives him the second-most points in school history.
2011: Indoor - Scored the most heptathlon points he has scored as a Bulldog (5,578) to take third in the heptathlon at the SEC Indoor Championships...Had a mark of 16 feet, 5 ½ inches for 10th place in the pole vault at the Virginia Tech Elite meet...Shot to No. 2 on UGA's all-time top-10 list in the heptathlon after finishing second in the heptathlon at the Big 12 vs. SEC Challenge.
2010: Indoor & Outdoor - Redshirted both seasons for the Bulldogs.
Tennessee: 2009: Outdoor - Finished fourth at the NCAA Championships after registering a personal-best 7,794 points in the decathlon...Placed second in the decathlon at the SEC Championships with 7,366 points...Also qualified for NCAA Regionals in the pole vault...Scored a personal-best 7,480 points to win Scott Hartman Decathlon.
Indoor - Finished 10th at the NCAA Championships in the heptathlon after tallying 5,454 points...Scored 5,717 points to win heptathlon at the SEC Championships, posting lifetime-best performances in five of seven events...Score ranks fourth on UT's all-time list...Also cleared 17 feet to finish fourth in the pole vault at the SEC Championships...Won the Clemson JRF Multi-Event Challenge with a then-career-best 5,590 points...Notched lifetime-bests in six of seven individual events throughout the season...Improved heptathlon PR by 429 points since 2008 season...Finished 10th in the NCAA heptathlon to earn All-America honors.
2008: Outdoor - Earned All-America honors in the decathlon after finishing as the eighth American at the NCAA Championships...Finished 12th overall in the decathlon with his score of 7,288...Placed third in the decathlon at the SEC Championships and earned SEC All-Freshman honors with a personal-best score of 7,360, which ranks as the third-highest score by a freshman in school history...Earned a regional-qualifying and personal-best mark of 16-6 3/4 while placing fifth in the pole vault at the SEC meet...Set his previous season-best clearance of 16-0.75 in the pole vault while tying for second at the Yellow Jacket Invitational...At the Smoky Mountain Twilight, recorded the first long jump victory of his collegiate career with a personal-best leap of 23-0.
Indoor - Named to SEC All-Freshman team as the highest-finishing freshman in the heptathlon at the SEC Championships...Scored a personal-best 5,286 to place third in his first conference championship meet...His score placed him 10th on Tennessee's all-time performance list in the event...Finished fourth with 5,087 points in his first collegiate heptathlon at the Penn State National Invitational...Won his first collegiate competition, taking first in the pole vault at the Clemson Opener with his 15-7 clearance...Earned a season-best long jump mark of 22-5 3/4 while competing in the New Balance Invitational.
High school: Broke the Tennessee high school state record with 7,377 points at the 2007 state championship meet to claim his record third consecutive state title...Also finished second in the pole vault, third in the triple jump and seventh in the long jump at the state championships...Was named 2007 Middle Tennessee Male Track & Field Athlete of the Year, the first athlete from Ravenwood to receive that honor...Left Ravenwood with school records in the 4x400 relay, high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault and shot put in addition to his state record...Was the top high school finisher in the junior decathlon at the USA Outdoor Championships, finishing sixth behind five collegians...Scored 7,079 points and placed second in the decathlon at the 2007 AAU Nationals...His score broke the previous AAU national record...Finished second with 6,865 points in the decathlon at the 2006 USATF Junior Olympics...Earned All-America honors after finishing fifth in the pentathlon at the 2007 Nike Indoor High School National Championships...Scored 6,398 points and placed ninth in the junior decathlon at the 2006 USA Outdoor Championships...His score ranked fifth in the country in 2006 using junior implements...Played wide receiver for Ravenwood's 2005 5A state champion football team.
