ATHENS, Ga. --- Shannon Vreeland, Hali Flickinger and Chase Kalisz had third-place efforts to highlight the Georgia contingent's showing late Wednesday in the Phillips 66 National Championships.

Vreeland, who completed her collegiate eligibility last season, had a time of 54.14 in the 100-meter freestyle. Former Lady Bulldog Amanda Weir came in eighth in 54.80. Former Lady Bulldog Allison Schmitt won the consolation final in 54.74, while former Lady Bulldog Megan Romano was seventh in 55.55.

Flickinger, a rising junior, touched in 2:08.77 in the 200-meter butterfly. Incoming freshman Megan Kingsley finished third in the B final in 2:11.90, followed by rising senior Lauren Harrington in eighth with a time of 2:14.22.

Kalisz, a rising junior, stopped the clock in 1:56.50 in the 200-meter butterfly. Rising sophomore Pace Clark was third in the B final in 1:58.68, while incoming freshman Mick Litherland was sixth in 1:59.42.

Former Bulldog Andrew Gemmell placed fifth in the 1,500-meter freestyle with a time of 15:07.82. Incoming freshman Kevin Litherland took 15th in 15:18.92. 

Rising senior Amber McDermott came in 13th in the 800-meter freestyle as she touched in 8:36.49. Rising sophomore Rachel Zilinskas came in 15th in 8:37.63.

Incoming freshmen Jay Litherland, Gunnar Bentz and Kevin Litherland made up three-fourths of a 400-meter freestyle relay that came in eighth with a time of 3:26.34.
