ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia men's swimming team will have 14 participants at the NCAA Championships later this month, according to an announcement made Wednesday by the NCAA.

The Bulldogs had 11 invited swimmers listed on the official psych sheet and three more were added as relay alternates.

The NCAAs will take place March 27-29 in Austin, Texas.

Nicolas Fink, Chase Kalisz and Matias Koski were invited in the maximum three events each. Fink will compete in the 200 individual medley and the 100 and 200 breaststroke, Kalisz will swim the 200 and 400 individual medley and the 200 butterfly, and Koski will race in the 200, 500 and 1,650 freestyle.

Will Freeman, Andrew Gemmell, Garrett Powell and Ty Stewart will swim two events each, while Pace Clark, Taylor Dale, Jared Markham and Doug Reynolds were invited in one apiece.

Georgia qualified all five of its relays as well. Alec Cohen, Chris Powell and Michael Trice were added as relay alternates, meaning they can swim only on relays.

Kalisz is the defending NCAA champion in the 400 individual medley and he enters this year's national meet with the country's best time of 3:36.89. He is also fourth in the 200 butterfly and eighth in the 200 individual medley. Fink is No. 2 in the 100 breaststroke, No. 3 in the 200 breaststroke and No. 10 in the 200 individual medley. Gemmell ranks fifth in the 1,650 freestyle, Koski is sixth in the 1,650 freestyle and ninth in the 500 freestyle, Reynolds is ninth in the 100 butterfly and Stewart is seeded 10th in the 200 backstroke. The Bulldogs' 400 and 200 medley relays are seeded fifth and seventh, respectively.
