KNOXVILLE, Tenn. --- Georgia diver Ann-Perry Blank placed third on the women's platform on Wednesday at the Zone B Championships, securing her place in next week's NCAA Championships.

Blank's berth means Georgia will be the only squad at the NCAAs with the full complement of 17 swimmers and two divers. Laura Ryan won the 3-meter title on Monday to earn an NCAAs spot.

The NCAAs will take place March 21-23 in Indianapolis.

"It was an amazing day," Georgia diving coach Dan Laak said. "It all worked out the way we hoped for. We knew Ann-Perry needed to be in the top 3, and that's what she did. She was lights out. That's the best she's ever done back-to-back like that. We're excited to have two divers in the meet. We could not be happier about that."

Blank was sixth after the prelims with 264.70 points, then posted 275.20 points to vault to third with a total of 539.90. Each of Blank's rounds eclipsed her previous tower high of 261.52.  Ryan placed 10th with a two-round total of 442.15. Darcie O'Brien came in 15th with 217.80 points in prelims.

The 10 advancing divers from Zone B came from five schools: Miami (3), Georgia (2), Tennessee (2), North Carolina State (2) and Florida State (1). There will be 41 divers competing at the NCAAs.
