Moore Sixth On 1-Meter at NCAA Zone B Championship

ATHENS, Ga.  --- The members of the Georgia diving team continued their competitions in the NCAA Zone B Championship on Friday at Gabrielsen Natatorium.

Hannah Moore placed sixth on the women's 3-meter springboard with a two-round total of  576.80. During Thursday's 1-meter competition, Moore qualified for the NCAA Championship, which will be held next Thursday through Saturday in Austin, Texas.

Also for the Lady Bulldogs on 3-meter, Hannah McElhannon placed 23rd with 254.75 points, Landon Watters came in 24th with 253.50 points, Ann-Perry Blank finished 28th with 245.00 points and Ansley Long wound up 32nd with 237.55 points.

In the men's 3-meter springboard competition, Alex Watson took 19th with 320.15 points. He was followed by Owen Blank in 29th with 292.20 points and Tim Barrett in 32nd with 218.70 points.

The NCAA Zone B Championship will conclude on Saturday with the platform competition. The women will start at 10:30 a.m., followed by the men at approximately 3:30 p.m.
