Ryan posted a two-round total of 603.55, while Blank rolled up 596.65 points. At the SEC Championships in Athens last month, Blank placed first and Ryan was third on 1-meter.
Also on Monday, Darcie O'Brien placed 26th with 247.30 points in the prelims.
Georgia's divers needed a top-3 finish on 1-meter on Monday to automatically qualify for one of the nine spots for next week's NCAA Championships in Minneapolis, Minn. Those spots went to Miami's Thea Vock (627.20), Florida State's Katrina Young (619.65) and Florida State's Ariel Rittenhouse (614.75).
On Tuesday, Georgia's divers will move to the 3-meter springboard, with the top four earning a berth in the NCAAs. Ryan is also the first eligible diver to move up should Vock, Young or Rittenhouse claim one of the four spots on 3-meter. Ryan and Blank went 1-2 on 3-meter at the SECs.
The platform competition, with the top two advancing, will be on Wednesday. Ryan was second and Blank was fifth on platform at the conference meet.
In the men's 3-meter springboard competition Monday, Spencer Madanay came in 25th with 281.10 points. Only six men will advance from the Zones to the NCAAs, with guaranteed berths going to first on platform; first through third on 3-meter; and first and second on 1-meter. Madanay will compete on 1-meter on Tuesday.
