ATHENS, Ga. --- Laura Ryan was first and Ann-Perry Blank was second on the 3-meter springboard on Saturday to highlight Georgia's showing in the UGA Diving Invitational at Gabrielsen Natatorium.

Ryan rolled up 332.40 points and Blank posted 328.20 points to pace the Lady Bulldogs. Blank then won the shootout competition over Ryan later on Saturday.

"It was awesome having two Bulldogs in the final two," Georgia diving coach Dan Laak said. "They all did a great job today. I was really proud of Laura and AP going 1-2 in the final."

Also Saturday, Ansley Long placed 16th with 259.85 points, followed by Darcie O'Brien in 20th with 252.60, Elizabeth Ann Kirkland in 24th with 243.05 and Haley Goodman in 51st with 174.35.

In the men's 1-meter springboard competition, Spencer Madanay came in 19th with 266.85 points. Bobby Chambless placed 22nd with 249.40 and Walker Wheeler took 26th with 229.60. SMU's Devin Burnett took top honors with 381.90 points.

The UGA Diving Invitational will conclude on Sunday with platform diving. The men will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the women at approximately 2 p.m. There is no cost for admission.
