2004-2005--Earned three Honorable Mention All-America certificates at the NCAA Championships...finished 11th in the 200y butterfly with a time of 1:45.02...also swam on the 400y free and 800y free relays that finished 14th and 12th, respectively...finished second in the 200y butterfly at the SEC Championships with a school-record time of 1:43.24...also placed fifth in the 100y backstroke (48.50) and seventh in the 100y fly (a personal-best 47.73)...recorded a season- and personal-best time of 1:51.62 in the 200 individual medley...claimed a bronze as part of the 4x100 free relay and also finished eighth in the 200 fly at the World University Games in Turkey...Team--10th at NCAAs, 3rd at SECs.

High School--Ridgeway...2004 Olympic Trials qualifier...named the Rookie of the Meet at the 2003 Summer National Championships after finishing sixth in the 100m fly (54.47) and 11th in the 200m fly (2:01.64)...recorded the second fastest 200y fly time in the 15-16 age group -- behind World Record holder Michael Phelps -- with a time of 1:46.59 at the U.S. Spring Junior Nationals...took top honors in both the 100 and 200y fly and bettered former Olympian Mel Stewart's national junior record in the 200y butterfly...broke two long-standing age group records as a member of the Southeastern Swimming Conference...time of 54.47 in the 100m fly surpassed former Olympian Matt Vogel's previous record of 55.14 set in 1976...set the standard in the 200m fly with a time of 2:01.64 (previous record was 2:01.99 set in 1988)...trained under Dave Smith at Memphis Tiger Swimming...three-time high school state champion, winning th e100y fly as a junior and senior and winning the 100y free in senior season, setting the state record...inducted to the Mu Alpha Theta National Honor Fraternity
