Named to the SEC's 2011-12 First-Year Academic Honor Roll. Participated in the United States Olympic Trials in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. High School: Graduated from Woodward Academy where she was coached by Laurie Davidson. Swam for Swim Atlanta and was coached by Doug Gjertsen. Was a four-time recipient of All-America honors. Named a Scholastic All-American three times. Was the 2010 Georgia state champion in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. Was a member of the 2011 Georgia High School 1-AAAA State championship 200 freestyle relay. Named Woodward Academy's Most Valuable Swimmer four straight years. Set Woodward Academy records in the 50 and 100 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 100 breaststroke, the 200 and 400 freestyle relays, and the 200 medley relay.
