• Also competed in the 100 breaststroke and the 200 individual medley and on the 400 and 800 freestyle relays and the 400 medley relay at the NCAAs.
• Won the 100 and 200 breaststroke titles at the SEC Championships.
• Placed third in the 200 individual medley at the SECs.
• Helped the 200 and 400 medley relays place second, the 800 freestyle relay come in third and the 400 freestyle relay take fourth at the SECs.
• Named the SEC Freshman of the Year and First-Team All-SEC.
• Twice named the SEC Freshman of the Week for his efforts against North Carolina and Texas.
