Schmitt Helps Georgia Stay On Top At NCAAs

High School:
• Graduated from Silverthorn Collegiate Institute.
• Swam for Etobicoke Swim Club and was coached by Kevin Thorburn.
• Was a member of the 2009-2011 Canadian Junior National Team.
International:
• Swimming for Canada, placed seventh in the 400 freestyle at the 2012 Olympics.
• Placed fourth on the 800 freestyle relay at the 2012 Olympics.
• Set the Canadian record in the 400 freestyle with a time of 4:05.06.
• Placed seventh on the 800 freestyle relay at the 2011 World Championships.
• Won the 200 and 400 freestyle at the 2011 Junior World Championships.
