Record Book: • Holds the sixth-best time in the 200 backstroke and the ninth-best times in the 100 backstroke and the 400 individual medley in school history. 2012-2013: • Named to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. • Chosen as the recipient of the Morton S. Hodgson Jr. Scholarship. 2011-2012: • Competed in the 400 individual medley and the 200 backstroke and on the 200 and 400 freestyle relays and the 400 medley relay at the NCAAs. • Came in third in the 200 backstroke, fifth in the 400 individual medley and seventh in the 200 individual medley at the SECs. • Helped the 400 medley relay take second and the 800 freestyle relay place third at the SECs. • Named Second-Team All-SEC and to the All-Freshmen Team. • Named the SEC Male Freshman of the Week for his efforts in the Georgia Tech meet. • Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the Spring Semester. • Qualified for the 2012 United States Olympic Trials in the 200 backstroke. High School: • Graduated from Cherry Creek High where he was coached by Chris Loftis. • Swam for Aces Swim Club under Eric Craven and Scott Cummins. • Was the 2009 Junior National Champion in the 200 backstroke. • Was the 2010 Junior National Champion in the 200 individual medley. • Was the 2011 Colorado state champion and state record holder in the 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle. • Was a USA National Youth Team member 2009-2010.
