Eighty-Three UGA Student-Athletes to Graduate Friday
2009-2010 (Senior Season) • Selected as a co-captain along with Annie Broome. • Named a recipient of the Solms Family Scholarship. • Chosen as the recipient of the Joel Eaves Scholar-Athlete Award as the female student-athlete entering her senior year with the highest grade point average in the athletic program. 2008-2009 (Junior Season) • Won a national championship with the 200 medley relay at the NCAAs. • Finished fifth with the 400 medley relay at the NCAAs. • Finished 19th and 26th in the 100 and 200 butterfly, respectively, at the NCAAs. • Named Female SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year. • Finished ninth in the 200 butterfly and 10th in the 200 individual medley at the SECs. • Holds the program's second-fastest time in the 100 butterfly, seventh-fastest time in the 100 backstroke and 200 butterfly, and 10th fastest-time in the 200 individual medley. • Named a recipient of the Ramsey Scholarship for Academic/Athletic Excellence. • Named to the Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll. • Named to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll. • Named to the ESPN The Magazine First Team Academic All-America and All-District At-Large Teams. • Named a CSCAA Scholar All-American. 2007-2008 (Sophomore Season) • Finished ninth in the 100 butterfly, 14th in the 100 backstroke and 20th in the 200 butterfly at the SECs. • Named to the Fall Semester Athletic Director's Honor Roll as the Lady Bulldogs recorded the highest GPA among Georgia's women's sports. • Named to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll. 2006-2007 (Freshman Season) • At the SECs, finished 11th in both the 100 butterfly and the 200 butterfly and was 17th in the 200 individual medley. • Named to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll. High School • Graduated from Highlands Ranch. • Broke the Colorado state record in the 100 butterfly en route to winning a state title. • Also won a state title in the 50 freestyle. • Named team Most Valuable Swimmer all four years at Highlands Ranch. • Was a four-time Scholastic All-American.
