• Won three gold medals, one silver and one bronze at the London Games.
• Became the first Georgia swimmer ever to win an individual gold as she claimed the 200-meter freestyle title.

2010-2011:
• Won the 200 and 500 freestyle titles for the second and third years in a row, respectively, at the NCAA Championships.
• Anchored the first-place 400 and 800 freestyle relays at the NCAAs.
• Helped the 200 medley relay claim seventh at the NCAAs.
• Finished 12th in the 100 freestyle at the NCAAs.
• Came in second in the 200 and 500 freestyle and fifth in the 100 freestyle as Georgia repeated as the SEC champion.
• Named the recipient of the Atlanta Sports Council Collegiate Athlete of the Year Award.

2009-2010:
• Won the 200 and 500 freestyle titles at the NCAAs.
• Anchored the 800 freestyle relay that claimed the national title.

• Competed in the 100 freestyle at the NCAAs.
• Named First-Team All-SEC after placing first in the 200 freestyle, second in the 500 freestyle and sixth in the 100 freestyle and swimming on the winning 400 and 800 freestyle relays at the SECs.

2008-2009:
• Won the title in the 500 freestyle at the NCAAs.
• Finished second with the 800 freestyle relay, third in the 200 freestyle and fourth with the 400 freestyle relay at the NCAAs.
• Named the SEC Freshman of the Year and to the SEC All-Freshmen Team.
• Named First-Team All-SEC after winning the 500 freestyle.
• Swam the lead leg of the second-place 400 freestyle relay team and was second in the 200 freestyle and fifth in the 100 freestyle at the SECs.
High School:
• Graduated from Canton High School.
• Swam for Club Wolverine and Coach Bob Bowman.
• Named the 2008 Michigan Female High School Athlete of the Year.
• Was a two-time Michigan High School Swimmer of the Year.
• Was the Michigan high school state champion in the 200 and 500 freestyle in 2006 and 2007, setting the state record in both events.
• Earned All-America honors 10 times.
• Named All-State eight times and to the All-State relay three times.
• Set Canton High School records in nine events.
• Named the 2007-08 Canton High Female Athlete of the Year.
• Was Canton's Most Valuable Swimmer for four years.
International:
• Won the bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics as a member of the 800-meter freestyle relay that set the American record.
• Anchored the 800-meter freestyle relay that won the gold medal at the 2011 World Championships.
• Claimed first in the 200-meter freestyle and the 400-meter freestyle at the 2011 Santa Clara International Grand Prix.
• Won the gold in the 200-meter freestyle at the 2010 USA National Championships.
• Placed first in the 200-meter freestyle, fourth in the 100-meter freestyle and first on the 800-meter freestyle relay at the 2010 Pan Pacifics.
• Won the 200- and 400-meter freestyle titles in the 2009 Duel at the Pool in England, helping Team USA defeat Europe.
• Earned silver in the 200-meter freestyle at the 2009 FINA World Championships.
• Swam the anchor leg of the U.S. 800-meter freestyle relay that came in second at the 2009 FINA World Championships.
• Set the National Age Group (17-18) record in the 200 freestyle.
• Was a member of the 2007 USA team for the Japan International Grand Prix.
